 A) We were very happy with the high number of participants from the VSWG,
 it is very encouraging. We would like to thank people
          
  -those who are performing tasks
  -those colleagues who actively participated with oral presentations
   (Juan Fabregat, Vasily Belokurov, Guiseppe Bono, Jan Cuypers and Michel
   Boer)
  -Peter De Cat for kindly transmitting his detailed notes, which helped
   to prepare the four emails you received since the end of the Paris
   meeting.
          
 B) Follow-up observations:
  Michel Boer explained the observing capabilities of the OHP
  (Observatoire de Haute Provence, http://www.obs-hp.fr/q). The
  involvement of OHP as a Gaia-Observatory is to be defined. The response
  time from alert to observation is extremely short - a few seconds. Some
  examples of the work which is currently done can be found on:

 C) We have been informed that Alain Jorissen and Patrick de Laverny
  will write, as planned, a proposal for VISA-VLT on LPVs.
