Critical limit and Be stars

"Evolution towards the critical limit and the origin of Be stars"

Sylvia Ekström, Georges Meynet, André Maeder & Fabio Barblan

2008 A&A 478: 467

In this directory, you will find the tracks corresponding to the paper mentionned above.

There are two types of files:

- the files beginning with a D contain all the data of a given evolutionary model (see the columns description)
- the files beginning with a Z contain all the data of ZAMS models at a given mass and metallicity for various rotational rates (see the column description).

The names of the different files give information on the model considered:

- the initial mass is indicated after the D or Z
- the metallicity is indicated after the small z ("z20" for Z=0.020, "z02" for Z=0.002, "zm5" for Z=10-5 and "z00" for Z=0)
- in the D files, after the letter S stands the rotation rate ("S50" being for Ω/Ωcrit=0.50, for instance).
- a V before the .dat indicates that the model has been computed with Vink & al. (2000) mass loss prescription.
