Research

Since there are very luminous, massive stars are privilegeous objects for the study of stellar formation and stellar evolution at different redshift in the Universe. These stars play a key role in the chemical evolution of galaxies. By their winds, they also modify the dynamical properties of the Interstellar medium. Sources of a powerful ionising radiation, they are responsible for HII regions and they probably contribute in a significant way to the reionisation of the Universe at very high redshift. For all these reasons, masive stars are a link between stellar, galactic and cosmic evolutions. My work is to study massive stars by modelling their evolution on a computer. More precisely, my research topics are the following:
