Connecting with NX¶
The best tool to connect to the system either from inside or outside is to use the nx tool, which gives you access to a full desktop. See the link Connecting with NX for more information.
Nx is a protocol that allows users to connect from outside, to the Observatoire de Sauverny and to benefit
from a complete desktop. An additional advantage is that it is easy to suspend an open cession and to recover
it later.
Two Nx servers machines are available: obsnx1.unige.ch and obsnx2.unige.ch.
