CUFD Troubleshooting

The CUFD (Convertisseur lenze tension(U) Frequence Dome) is located in the local L102 (first floor) in the cabinet TERC (Tableau Electric Rotation coupole) at the diagonal of the exit of the staircase.

Display at the controller

The first element to check is the power supply (The switches on the TEUPS (orange cabinet on the computer room) must be on position ON.

The green LED (1) must light or blink. If not, check the breaker subsection.

The yellow LED (2) indicate the reception of messages.
The yellow LED (3) indicate the emission of messages.

During operation without an operating module, the operating state of the controller is displayed on the two LEDs (4 red and 5 green) at the front of the unit.

If the state of the LEDs are not in the state 1 move the triphases breaker below the LENZE in the OFF position for 10 seconds and then ON.
After this, if the state of LED goes to state 1 continue the observation...
if not, and the state goes to state 3 call the technical service and if your a self-confident with electricity go to step Thermal Check.

TESTS

Motor Check

In the dome, move the cupola manualy. Do not forget to put the switch in AUTO mode after!
Check if the 2 motors are running (I do not how).

Breaker Check

If there is no light on the green LED (1) that means the power supply is missing.
There is 2 breakers before the LENZE:
one in the TERC (lower left) below the LENZE
one in the TEC (Tableau Electric Coupole) one stage upper, his name is TERC
Check with a multimeter the voltage between L1 L2 L3 380V (Autorized Personal Only) on the breaker and the LENZE!

Thermal Check

There is a thermal security wired on the LENZE.
Each motor has a thermal switch, these 2 switches are chained with a commutator S3 in the TEC cabinet.
First, check that the S3 switch is on "1"

These 3 switches are feed in 15Volt by the LENZE terminal 20 and read by the terminal 28.
With a multimeter (range VDC) check the voltage between:
 the terminal 7 and 20
You must have 15 Volts (power supply)
 the terminal 7 and 28
if the voltage is about 15 volts, there is not inhibit due to the thermal switch.
If not a motor can have a thermal switch trouble.

Motor Thermal Check

In the TEC
For security reason switch OFF the LENZE with the breaker TERC
Switch S3 in position "0"
With a multimeter in Ohm check element 65 between terminal 1 and 2 you must have about 5 Ohm do the same for the element 67
Switch S3 in position "1"
Switch ON the LENZE with the breaker TERC
If your measurement is "infini" O.L  the motor has a termal switch open
