Not much in pictures here.
The car received a brand new wiring loom of excellent quality from AH spares. Colors, gauge, connectors, cotton braid, everything is original.
The dash has been dismantled, the instruments, lamps and switches cleaned before the (recovered) dash was repopulated and rewired. The complete assembly was then installed into the car where all connections in the engine bay were performed.
In the engine bay, the housings of the electric boxes have been re-plated and all contacts re-tinned by hand. The conductors on the boxes cannot be re-plated because they are all riveted to a bakelite back plate, and therefore, they still look a bit dull
Generator and starter were cleaned and are still running strong
Switches and fuel gauge (the only electrical instrument!) work of course, as do the horns, heater blower, trafficator, blinkers and lights all around. Front lights are sealed beam type.
